The results are in for the month of October, 2016 and slow sales dominate most manufacture’s results while the mid-size market continues to grow.

I think the results speak for themselves really and continue a trend. Ford has called for weakening sales and we have likely seen the top end of their monthly sales volume. It seems as if Chevy doesn’t hold a “Truck Month” promotion their sales slip as customers wait for the bargains. The Tundra continues to hold steady at right around 10k units and the Titan is still not a big seller.
The Tacoma continues to lead the way in mid-size truck volume while the change at the Wentzville Assembly plant to build more trucks looks to be behind the boom in the Chevy Colorado sales. The Ridgeline’s sales are likely still to many existing customers switching over and a few new truck buyers. Hard to say if traditional truck buyers are moving over to it. Finally, the Nissan Frontier shows being old isn’t such a bad thing.
